PEX-AL-PEX
Brief
Introduction
Ginde composite
pipes consist of an aluminium core with inner and outer plastic layers,
tightly bonded with a special adhesive to the aluminium core. All the
layers are extruded in one step. Ginde composite pipes have all the
advantages of both metal and plastic pipes, but none of their
disadvantages.
Ginde Plastic
Pipe Industry Group (GPPIG) has an extensive range of PEX-AL-PEX
production lines, all imported from the German UNICOR Company,
implementing the "one step five layer extrusion method", using an
ultrasonic over lap welding technique. The raw materials are imported
from famous European and American companies. The main suppliers are the
American DOWLEX Chemical Company, the American PHILIPS Company, the
German POLYPLAST Company and the Dutch DSM Company.

Advantages
- Individual
advantages show that its consistency is very strong and it has the
ability to bend
- Superior
resistant properties of high temperature, high pressure, corrosion and
fire
- Smooth inner
surface of the pipe increases flow rate by more than 30%, making it
more efficient than metal pipes
- Thermal
conductivity is 0.45W/m.k and is more cost effective than metal pipes,
it saves insulation material costs on pipes used externally
- Easy cutting
and convenient installation
- Small
diameter pipes are easy to bend and are packaged in rolls, saving time
and labour costs
- Guaranteed
for more than 50 years under normal conditions
- Huge savings
on transportation costs due to the light weight (one tenth of
zinc-plated pipes)
- The plastic
covered aluminium core assures no oxygen permeability, preventing
bacterial growth
- Underground
pipes are easily detected with metal detectors
- It has
excellent static-shield properties. It is widely used for electric and
communication cabling
Applications
- Industrial
and residential systems for hot and cold water
- Pipeline
systems for conveying potable water
- Heating
pipelines for under floor heating, wall and roof heating, snow melting
in parking lots and airport runways
- Pipelines for
air conditioners
- Pipelines for
solar heating systems
- Pipelines for
gas and coal gas
- Pipelines for
oxygen transportation in hospitals
- Pipelines for
oil and cooling fluid transportation
- Pipelines for
electric wire and communication cabling
- Pipelines for
compressed air
- Pipelines for
fluid transportation in beverage factories
- Pipelines for
irrigation engineering in agriculture and gardens
